Entry rules & Information

1.Only high-quality photos will be accepted.

2. Entries that contain a retouch of eyelashes, watermarks, logos, background graphics etc will NOT BE ACCEPTED.

3. We do not accept photos that have been published in magazines, social media etc. All photos that fail to meet this requirement will be banned, so please take the time to create something unique and beautiful.

4. There is no limit to the number of categories an individual contestant can enter (the same category can be entered multiple times)

5. Registration fee for each category is 59€

6. No refunds of competition fees are given. Competition entrance fees are non-refundable.
– Once a contestant has registered they cannot change divisions so PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK before making the purchase!
IF THE WINNER IS DETERMINED TO HAVE VIOLATED ANY OF THE RULES, HE/SHE WILL BE REQUIRED TO FORFEIT, EVEN IF THE DETERMINATION IS MADE SUBSEQUENTLY! WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DECLARE THE FIRST RUNNER-UP THAT MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS AS THE WINNER!

7. Levels of experience:

a) Junior- up to 1 years of experience (send picture of your certificate)
b) Master- from 1 to 3 years of experience (send picture of your certificate)
c) Experts- over 3 years of experience and 2nd and 3rd place winners
d) Professional- All trainers, judges and previous 1st place winners in online or live competition. 

8. All entries submitted become the sole property of the organiser, to be used in whatever fashion deemed appropriate by the organiser without compensation to the contestants. Upon making the submission the contestant will grant the organiser the right and license to use, publish, reproduce, display, adapt and distribute the photos in all media forms.

10. After your registration is complete, you will be sent a confirmation email in 48 hours. If you do not receive this email, please contact the organiser immediately as it means your registration has NOT been processed.

11.Registration is open 1.8 2022-7.01.2023 23:59. You have time to send your works until 7.01.2023 23:59 Finnish time.

12. Winners will be announced 7.02.2023 18.00 Finland time, on our instagram page 

!!!IMPORTANT INFO!!! All winners will have to pay in full for the shipping costs of their awards!!!

13. We have bulk discounts. If you buy 3 or more categories, you will get -15%, if you buy 6 or more categories, you will get -20%

Prizes
*3 top winners from each category and level will be chosen.
Certificates, trophies and sponsor prizes will be given out. It is the winners´ responsibility to keep track of shipping codes. Winners may be required to pay duties/taxes when prizes enter their country. (It will be shipped from Finland). If there is not enough competitiors, you dont have to worry about competing on higher levels. We are calculating your place by procent. 1st place is 85%-100% of the max points. 2. place is 70%-84%, 3. place is 50%-69% of the max points. You have to get atleast 50% of the max points to get a place in top 3.

* Grand Prize: Grand Prize: Grand Prize winner will receive 200€ to his/her account and be given a fantastic opportunity to be a junior judge in our next competition. All participants who take part in at least 4 nominations will compete for the main award – the Grand Prize.

Please add the SUBJECT of the category and your level of experience you are entering in your email 

Upload ONLY  the right pictures to match the category. Upload required photos to google drive folder, folder must be named after your competitor number. Send links to cristelstudiolashchamp@gmail.com

*Submit a portfolio that consists of max 7 pictures

**Remember, judges can only score what they can see. It’s impossible to give scores higher than 50% if the photos are blurry.

Criteria for Classic

  1. Overall look 10 points – first impression of the work. Almost everything is taken into account.
  2. Cleanliness  of the work 10 points
  3. Distance 5 points- Distance should be 0,2 mm to 0,5mm
  4. Direction 10 points- Lashes shouldn’t crisscross.  
  5. Perfect Line 5 points- You have to create smooth transition
  6. Coverage 5 points
  7. Modelling 10 points – chosen design should be suitable for model`s eye shape and symmetry of the face. Judges will evaluate the effect, colour, curve and lenght you have chosen.
  8. Symmetry 10 points- Both eyes should be modelled in symmetry.

Criteria for Light Volume, Dark Volume, Color Lashes, Eyeliner effekt, Pre made fans

  • Overall look 10 points – first impression of the work. Almost everything is taken into account.
  • Cleanliness  of the work 10 points- Adhesive amount, isolating, fan attachment, etc will be judged.
  • Distance 5 points- Distance should be 0,2 mm to 0,5mm
  • Direction 10 points- Lashes shouldn’t crisscross.
  • Coverage 5 points
  • Perfect Line 5 points- You have to create smooth transition
  • Modelling 10 points – chosen design should be suitable for model`s eye shape and symmetry of the face. Judges will evaluate the effect, colour, curve and lenght you have chosen.
  • Symmetry 10 points- Both eyes should be modelled in symmetry.
  • Fan quality 5 points – Judge will look at the symmetry of the fan and the width of the fan

Criteria for M/L curl and Wet Look

  • You can do a perfect line or ”Kim K” look
  • You can mix other curls with L,L+ or M curl
  • Overall look 10 points – first impression of the work. Almost everything is taken into account.
  • Cleanliness  of the work 10 points-Adhesive amount, isolating, fan attachment, etc will be judged.
  • Distance 5 points- Distance should be 0,2 mm to 0,5mm
  • Direction 10 points- Lashes shouldn’t crisscross.
  • Smooth blending 5 points- A) perfect line B) Kim K effect
  • Coverage 5 points
  • Modelling 10 points – chosen design should be suitable for model`s eye shape and symmetry of the face. Judges will evaluate the effect, colour, curve and lenght you have chosen.
  • Symmetry 10 points- Both eyes should be modelled in symmetry.
  • Fan quality 5 points – evaluated on the basis of the pictures. Judge will look at the symmetry of the fan and the width of the fan

Criteria for Kim K

  • Overall look 10 points – first impression of the work. Almost everything is taken into account.
  • Cleanliness  of the work 10 points- Adhesive amount, isolating, fan attachment, etc will be judged.
  • Distance 5 points- Distance should be 0,2 mm to 0,5mm
  • Direction 10 points- Lashes shouldn’t crisscross.
  • Coverage 5 points
  • Smooth blending 5 points- You have to create smooth blending between fans and spikes
  • Modelling 10 points – chosen design should be suitable for model`s eye shape and symmetry of the face. Judges will evaluate the effect, colour, curve and lenght you have chosen.
  • Symmetry 10 points- Both eyes should be modelled in symmetry.
  • Fan quality 5 points – Judge will look at the symmetry of the fan and the width of the fan

Criteria and pictures for Fantasy Lashes

Theme is Universe

  1. Here is no levels, all are participating in the same level!
  2. No team work allowed.
  3. Judges will only evaluate the lashes, hair and face, no body painting or body decoration
  4. Any decoration on the eyelashes and face is allowed.

Points:

  • Overall impression 10 points- First impression of the work. Almost everything is accounted.
  • The creativity of application 10 points – colour, lash decoration, etc
  • Model’s art makeup 5 points
  • Lower lash decor 10 points
  • Upper lash decor 10 points
  • Theme 5 points – Judges will evaluate the application and interpretation of the theme
  • Classic Lashes 5 points
  • Volume Lashes 10 points
  • Cleanliness – Try to keep the work clean from glue, etc. 10 points

1. Max. of 6 photos of high resolution per one entry allowed, a high-quality photo showcasing lash decoration must be included.

2.Fantasy/lash art photos can be slightly retouched (skin smoothing) . BUT NOT THE EYELASHES!

3.Pictures needed :

  1. a portrait of your model, facing the camera directly with her eyes closed, so all the decoration on top is clearly seen

  2. a portrait of your model facing the camera directly with her eyes open, so all the decoration on the bottom is clearly seen

  3. a portrait of your model, full head and shoulders on the pic, facing the camera directly with her eyes open, looking straight

  4. a close up pictures of your model’s eyes closed and open, all decoration need to be clearly seen

  5. One photo of your choice

Criteria for Art on a sponge

Theme is “Winter wonderland”

Max 3 pictures of your choice.

Criteria for art on a sponge:

  • Overall look 10 points
  • Work fluffiness- 5points
  • Theme 5 points – Judges will evaluate the application and interpretation of the theme
  • The creativity of application 10 points – colour, decoration, etc
  • Classic Lashes- 5 points
  • Volume Lashes 10 points

!!! You can also use paper, fabric etc as a background!

Here is no levels, all are participating in the same level!

Criteria and pictures for Lash Lift

Please enter max 9 photos:

  • A before photo with the model`s eyes open, captured from the front while the model sits up to evaluate the overall shape and the face as a whole
  • An after photo of the whole face with the model`s eyes open and looking straight at the camera, to evaluate the smoothness of bend and direction
  • Before and after photo from the side of both eyes to evaluate the lifting angle and the percentage of curled lashes
  • Lashes on the curling shield after glueing them and before applying lotion number 1 (both eyes on the picture).
  • A before and after close-up photo of one eye, model looking straight

Bend 10 points

Smoothness of the bend 10 points- bend should be smooth along the entire natural lash, without any deformations.

Percentage of curled lashes 10 points- all natural lashes should be curled

Direction 10 points- Lashes shouldn’t crisscross

Inner corner work 5 points

Outer corner work 5 points

Cleanliness 10 points- Judges will look lash isolating. Lashes shoudn’t be stuck together, tinting must be even. There cant be any pieces of glue on the natural lashes and tint on the skin.

Red eyes- you will lose 5 points

Criteria for Brow Lamination

Max 5 pictures

  1. Before photo, full face

  3. before photo, close up of the brows

  5. Picture of your choice

  • Overall impression 10 points- First impression of the work. Almost everything is accounted.
  • Direction of brows, no crossings 10 points
  • Percentage of lifted hair 10 points- all hairs should be lifted
  • Shaping 10 points
  • Angle 10 points
  • No redness or swelling 5 points
  • Tint/ color 5 points
  • Cleanliness  of the work 5 points
